The age of 3-5 years is a critical time during a child's brain development. Participating in high-quality dance classes during those crucial years helps connect the neural pathways that govern "cause and effect," "emotional management," "empathy," and "judgment."
Deseret Dance has designed a special program specifically designed to open each of these new paths through the teaching of the expression of movement. We also focus on creating and strengthening the connections between the left and right brain. This helps the child later in life to be able to learn science and math more effectively.
In a fun and uplifting environment, the child learns how to receive instruction, (visually and verbally), then translate it to the appropriate muscle groups, while concentrating on memorizing 3 and 4 step cues at the same time. The child receives a loving correction and learns to deal with failure, as well as success, in a healthy way.
Our program also integrates rhythm therapy. Learning to internalize rhythm at this early age helps prevent and correct behavior problems like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism.
During their dance classes our "minis" will learn genres of Ballet, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Jazz, Clogging, Modern, Ballroom Dances, Indigenous Dances, and more.
They will not only become a complete dancer, but a complete being, learning to connect with others and, above all, with themselves, in a vunerable and courageous way.
Who can join this class?
Male and Female3-5 year old
This class requires your attendance EACH week, as we build on what we learned the previous weeks.
When and where is the class?
Every TUESDAY from 4-5pm at Deseret Dance Studio (in La Noria la Esperanza, Silao, Guanajuato)
When can I register?
This class is open enrollment. You can enter at any time of the year. Before entering, you must meet with the instructor outside of class to help you with techniques you may have missed.
How much is the class?
This class costs $ 200 per month. There is NO registration fee.
Biannual Discount:
If you pay 6 months at a time, you receive a 20% discount on all your classes.
Sibling Discount:
If more than one sibling from the same family is registered for a Deseret Dance class, each additional sibling receives a 10% discount on ALL of their classes.
1st child = Full Price
2nd child = 10% discount on all monthly classes
3rd child = 20% discount on all monthly classes
4th child = 30% discount on all monthly classes
5th child = 40% discount on all monthly classes
6th child and over = 50% discount on all monthly classes
